Transcend

Things aren't forever,
They never were.
Everything has got to change,
For that, there is no cure.

I heard it's happening,
You and I are not immune.
I hope you've made peace,
With the ones you pray to,
They'll not be much help to you.

It's they who put us here.
And they have got the power,
To take us all away.
Return us to empty space.

And they'll reign down on us all,
And every thing we have built up,
It's all corrupt, and it will fall.

If this is really the end,
I hope that we can transcend.
 
It's now or never.
Not like before. 
Everything will rearrange.
Nothing will be ignored.

It's their unhappiness,
With you and I and everything.
Pretending to believe,
In the ones that you pray to,
Your faith is just to blind to see..

It's they who gave us life,
And they have got the power,
To clean up this mess,
Return us to emptiness.
